3. Purpose of the Register
The registers include a marketing register, customer register, recruitment register, and partner register, covering stakeholders. The data in the registers is handled by the responsible specialist and a possible deputy.
4. Basis for Data Collection and Processing
The processing of personal data is based on the company’s legitimate interest and/or customer relationship and/or consent or the preparation of a contract. Legitimate interest is based on managing customer and employee relationships arising from contracts.
The purpose of processing personal data is marketing our products and services, targeted advertising, sales, production, delivery, user management, customer relationship management, communication with customers, and invoicing. Consent from individuals has been obtained on a case-by-case basis, documented or voluntary, and in some cases through contracts where the data subject is a party.
Personal data is also used for sending newsletters. The data is not used for automated decision-making or profiling.

We process the following personal data in connection with the register:
- Name of the data subject (first names, last name), customer number (mandatory for providing services)
- Contact details (phone number, email address, address) (mandatory for providing services)
- Information provided by job applicants with their consent (mandatory for providing services)
- Company-related information (phone number, email address, address, business ID, invoicing details, contact person details as described above) (mandatory for providing services)
- Customer and contract-related information, such as customer history, ongoing and potential future work, customer satisfaction data if contact details have been provided
- Participation data of individuals attending events organized by the data controller
- Possible consents and prohibitions
- Other possible data collected with the consent of the data subject
On the controller’s website, information is collected using cookies and similar technologies regarding user navigation and actions, consents, prohibitions, and other information provided by the user.
6. Data Retention Period
The collected data is retained for as long as necessary to maintain the customer relationship or to develop customer service.
7. Regular Sources of Information
Data stored in the register is obtained from customers/data subjects/job applicants via web forms, email, phone, social media services, contracts, customer meetings, and other situations where individuals provide their data.
Additionally, data may be collected from publicly available sources such as websites, the trade register, and other public or private registers where the individual has given consent.
8. Regular Disclosures and Transfers of Data Outside the EU or EEA
Data is not regularly transferred by the controller outside the EU or EEA. However, service providers used by Envineer may outsource processing of personal data to their own service or software providers located outside the EU or EEA, such as in the United States.
In such cases, adequate data security and processing are ensured through the EU–U.S. Privacy Shield arrangement or standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. More detailed information is available upon request. Requests must be submitted in writing to the data controller, who may require proof of identity.

The right of access is free of charge once per year.
The data subject has the right to request correction or deletion of incorrect or outdated data, or transfer of data from one system to another. They also have the right to restrict or object to processing under Articles 18 and 21 of the GDPR.
The data subject has the right to withdraw previously given consent or to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
The data subject also has the right to prohibit the use of their data for direct marketing purposes.
